Bicycle hire

The Alpujarra now has (at last and by very popular demand) its very own professionally-run bicycle rental service. Mountain bikes and road bikes are available for hire and sale. They also sell spare parts and run a repairs workshop.

Alpujarra Bikes are based at their shop, very easy to find on the main road through Bubión village, and can be contacted on (+34) 858 857 034.

Vedic Art

Maryse Alen runs courses in Vedic Art in Capileira. Vedic Art is  about painting together with the art of living and the freedom to be. It is founded on principles of the Vedanta laid down in India 5,000 years ago.  As the 17 principles are presented, you will practise them for yourself though different painting activities.

Vedic Art is about remembering who you are and where you want to go. It is for everyone, from beginners in freedom to experienced artists.

Courses are given in English or Dutch. They range from the Basic Course to Teacher Training and last one week.
